Go placidly amid the noise and haste
And remember what peace there may be in silence
As far as possible without surrender
Be on good terms with all person
Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others
Even the dull and ignorant
They too have their story
Avoid loud and aggresive persons
If you compare yourselves with others
You may become vain and bitter
For always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself

You are a child of the universe
No less than the trees and the stars
You have a right to be here
And whether or ot it is clear to you
No doubt the universe is unfolding
As it should

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans
Keep interested in your own career
However humble, it is a real psssession
In the changing fortunes of time
Exercise caution in your business affairs
for the world is full of trickery
But, let this not blind you to what virtue there is
Many persons strive for high ideals
And, everywhere, life is full of heroism
Be yourself, especially do not feign affection
Neither be cynical about lvoe
For in the face all aridity and disenchantment
It is as perrennial as the grass
Take kindly to the counsel of years
Gracefully surrendering the things of youth
nuture, strength, and spirit to sheld you in suddent misfortune
But, do not distress yourself with imaginings
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness
Beyong the wholesome discipline
Be gentle with yourself

Therefore, be at peace with God
Whatever you convceive him to be
And whatever your labors and aspirations
In the noisy conffusion of life
Kee peace with your soul
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams
It is still a beautiful world
Be careful, strive to be happy

A SMILE costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and
none is so poor but that he can be made rich by it.

A SMILE creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business,
and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary,
cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is nature's best
antidote for trouble.

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something
that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a SMILE. Give them one of yours,
as none needs a SMILE so much as he who has no more to give.

The sky was blue and high above
The moon was new and so was love
This eager heart of mine was singing
Love, where can you be?

You came at last
Love had its day
You've gone away
This aching heart of mine is singing
Love, come back to me

When I remember every little thing you used to do
I'm so lonely.
Every road I walk along I've walked along with you
[It is] No wonder [that] I am lonely

The sky is blue, the night is cold
The moon is new, but love is old
And while I'm waiting here
This heart of mine is singing
Love, come back to me

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.

If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.

If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.

If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.
